What a night costs
Prices in Canadian dollars. Credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Debit cards don't work yet.
The rules, in plain words
- Rounded up to the hour
20 minutes counts as 1 hour ($6). An hour and five minutes counts as 2 hours ($9).
- $20 a day at most
Keep it all night and you pay $20 for that day, not a cent more.
- Not returned within 3 days: $50
That is the most you'll ever be charged for one rental. Return it to any Recharj station before then and you pay only for the time you used.
- A $50 hold, not a charge
When you tap, your bank sets $50 aside. When you return the charger you're charged only for the time you used, and the rest is released. How soon that shows up depends on your bank.
- Credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay
Debit cards don't work yet. A physical credit card works even when your phone is dead.
- Return it anywhere
Any Recharj station, not just the one you took it from. Slide it into a free slot; the screen confirms the return and shows your total.
- Something wrong?
Email hello@recharj.ca with the station, the date and the time. Charges that aren't right get refunded to the same card.
